Uranus in Gemini and the Pisces/Virgo axis
‘The Space Between’ apexes this week
I will say we are on the verge of something new in our lives, but it is requiring determination of where we are versus where we want to/see ourselves going.
There used to be this Dave Matthews song that was super popular like 20 some odd years ago, called “The Space Between”. This song tells a story of lovers that love and hate the relationship in equal measure, and find themselves navigating in the space between breaking it off altogether and finding the nerve to try to save the big love that also still exists. The ends are certain; the place they are working within, however, is not. All that can be done is take it one day at a time and reside within that spot to be open to both ends once another shoe drops. I can say that we are in the same limbo; we want the freedom but the letting go or building of something is keeping us unsure of what to trust.
With Uranus and the Nodes at 2 degrees, the space between that is getting lit up is how we feel about ourselves. We want to feel freedom, but there is difficulty in trusting the most basic level due to our pursuit of what we thought we had to do in order to perfect our lives. The south node in Virgo is three dimensional letting go here; the physicality of the Earth sign means manifestations, but to get more Virgo detailed it’s actually more of the process, the routine. The idea that I had to be A, B or C to make things run more smoothly. I have to balance this plate in order to do this thing. For example, I’m ready release a pattern of what I thought I needed to do in order to keep my sanity in check that I’ve been working with since COVID. My guess would be everybody is. It’s rewrite time, but from a more stable, honest feeling place.
Not only that, with changemaker Uranus pushing for innovation and new, the old efficiency no longer applies. It’s like coming up with a beautifully organized filing cabinet system after everything went digital; it’s up for the new, and the ‘scary’ kind of new where you have to learn something in order to work with it. Over this past weekend, I had a Uranus square Nodes moment when I recognized that even though I can read all of the reviews and get everything perfect on paper regarding price and features, the user experience can still be awful, resulting in breaking down quicker, even. Data versus lived experience; it doesn’t FEEL right to use this appliance, even though this dishwasher has a garbage disposal, that kind of thing.
Chances are you have been dealing with this space since the New Moon in Aries, actually; this idea that we are waiting for more and this big NOT YET (my fellow fire signs will know what I speak of, ha). The space between what we wish we could feel and what we actually do feel is big. And if the daily routine is what is needing the upgrade, where to start to know what to let go?
Now THAT is the Piscean domain. With Neptune in Aries, we have been getting dealt a double dose of this in terms of how we motivate ourselves, and Neptune currently at the Uranian degree of 4 Aries is shining the light of truth onto how you have been doing it. Neptune requires there to be trust the bigger picture, and in Aries there is a letting go and rebuilding of a new character that wants this Uranian freedom in the thoughtrealm of Gemini. But it can’t….because feelings need to be addressed, and there needs to be some rockbottom trust in that intution in order to do so. The spotlight has been on Pisces for that past year and a half, and although it really wants to shift in about 6 weeks, I find that the HARDEST work of a year and half nodal transit of any sign is usually in that first decan (where it is now). We are needing to get a makeover in how we are treating ourselves in order to really give from a place of fullness, and that means, especially with the nodes now at 2 Pisces and Virgo, that we need to trust what we sense and feel and let go of all of the times where we had to constrain ourselves, our identities, because of our feelings. It’s okay that we lost our crap waiting in line in the grocery. It’s okay you flipped the bird on the highway on the way to meditation class. It’s okay that you chose to listen to a podcast instead of working out. IT’S OKAY.
The self judgement of how you felt is keeping you locked into a routine and way of being that does not serve your feelings anymore, and not only that, the path to freedom is in that release. Because Pisces wants you to know it’s okay. And when the pressure is off, then the healing can begin. Then the flow can be accessed and you can trust it to carry you.
Hold that space to become a caretaker for yourself while the new path emerges. It emerges through grace, compassion and feeling your feelings with honesty and gentle good humor. Having a good cry, or recognizing that you are just tired of the fight. The changes will come, but only after there is some clarity.
Best of luck on navigating the space between through the depth of self introspection.
