The Power of (this particular) Venus in Virgo

The Venus in Virgo transit is opening you to settle on which methods are truly serving your best interests versus what serves only the collective or personal vanity.
She is blunt here, honest; boots on the ground, knows where every cent is and knows to look ahead for danger. Her exaltation in Pisces offers a more ‘true’ and fluid expression, as there is plenty of grace and ease as she accepts the give and take it may require to fulfill the promise. In Virgo, she receives just as well, but without the syrup and usually carrying the bill. Right now, she is opening to the nitty gritty of the last of what we need to carry before these nodes shift, and believe me, it will most certainly shift. Notably…it will energetically feel different. It will feel upbeat, lit, and detached, but up for the adventure instead of actively/passively absorbing the world as we have been the past 18 months. So recognize the act of what Venus is doing here in Virgo…she is opening you to the deeply held patterns of what is needed to change in order to make the planet a better place, which requires (surprise/not surprise) extra investment in self love overall.
She is the only planet to join the south node in Virgo at 0, and the only one that is there for the node’s departure, where she will begin to rebuild the new.
She is receiving and accepting what needs to be protected, and since Virgo is an earth sign, this is a very three dimensional element of your life that is requiring your attention to what is working for you and what is not. This is preparation for a big shift that is happening later this year, which is Venus’s retrograde in Scorpio/Libra as well as the north node shifting to Aquarius…what is dead weight versus what is opening for you to the greater good? What could keep you lean and mean to ascend to greater heights? The energy will most certainly pick up at the end of the month, and it is requiring you to keep doors open that you want to keep open and shut the ones that you do not.
The zero of the nodes here can be looked at like an open door, or even a mirror; the idea that Venus is going to just continue to pick up the old, look at it, and put it back down for the next couple of weeks is just mind boggling in how she is being used as a microphone right now for Uranus’s message of new for new’s sake and the push for adaptation while on the move up. Today was the square, and I have to honestly say that I had two incidents where I was shown quite literally where my resolving to settle illuminated a huge roadblock in my avoidance to engage, opting to stick to the plan for ‘perfection’. Holding on for holding on’s sake, even though there was grief there; it caused me to completely change my mindset about it. It’s like embrace your pace, or blessing your own mess. Learning and practicing that self forgiveness, and the forgiveness of others in accepting your role in the whole creative action of the internal story that is always being crafted with his transit in Gemini.
She is also building in square to Mars during this transit as well, only to perfect on the Full Moon, just as she squared Uranus on this New Moon. The recollections and reservations that came up under the New will be pressured to act on by the Full, which follows the moon’s manifestation cycle as well, minus the impatience and aggression of a big idea Mars. Except this isn’t with intentions; we are being pressured to recognize the line as the line presents itself. Preparing for her retrograde in Scorpio later this year, she is taking the scythe to the grain in the most Virgoan way possible; through preparation and foresight. Mulling over in the mind (Mercury) what may need to be cut in order to preserve what matters to you. Yet, with the mind backwards in the sign of the moon, it is high tide for leaning into and feeling through your emotional brain where the line may be. With Mercury stationing direct squaring Saturn, there is a flavor of discipline to whatever mindset that we have agreed on that can represent a deeper sense of safety and security that can be chipped away at. We need to work it, however…it won’t fall on our lap. This Venus is needing to be her discerning Virgo self right now. The healing is not going to come from the old way anymore, and the new has yet to be determined.
The larger thing to keep in mind is that with Jupiter opposite Leo, there will be BIG opportunities for noting the wound (square to Chiron still direct at 0 Taurus) as well as noting how much you are adding to the situation unconsciously (Pluto retrograde). Keep resurfacing to the idea that you are meant to accept it in order for this task of editing the future plan to serve you better on the way to the stratosphere. There will be things that come up, and you need to be aware in order to accept it. Know that you play a stronger role in your creation than you may have ever given yourself credit for before, but know that this transit on the whole is meant to give you an absolute clean slate before the new New can really take off.
I won’t go too deep, but I do know this…Pluto conjuncts the north node at 4 Aquarius at the end of next year, and that’s true rocket fuel. Best of luck on this final clean, but know that now is the beginning of the end of a long chapter for all of us.
