Lunar Eclipse at 4 Pisces/Virgo, August 28, 2026

The eclipse.

We are coming to an end of the nodes at Pisces and Virgo, but not without a supreme rattle of consciousness before the finish, which is actually this spring. The last lunar eclipse was last Virgo season, at 15 degrees Pisces, which was a real life practical application of walking away from pleasing others to prove yourself and instead taking talents directly to the masses. Not twisting like a pretzel to have the future you want, but to take it from the place of rest (Pisces).

This particular shift is now reflective in the new creative escapade that is wishing to be born or brought to life, and we are still in that energy of walking away from needing to prove ourselves to order to be in control of the story. Autonomy is here if you wish to take it, but it needs to come from a place of rest and security and not from a place of fear and lack. Last eclipse season, we had Jupiter in Cancer; this time we have Mars, so the Universe is indicating action being taken this time. Not only that, but the needing to be in control is getting a make over, as well; if fear was spurring the need for control, begin to come from love instead in order for that change to be really big.

These eclipses are less about the nuts and bolts of what is coming and going in daily life as much as they are about your spiritual self (Pisces) being in conversation with how you behave and belong in order to have the life that reflects you the best. What that requires is recognizing yourself as the God within in order to make the changes that are needed, and this is a 360 degree process; hence why it take months and years to pull that eclipse energy out. The invitation here is to embrace the chaos of your divinity and recognize that this divinity may be bigger than the life you have planned.

There is quite a bit coming in with the pressure of the yod from Neptune and Pluto retrograde asking you to reconsider whatever future plans of this ‘loved’ life were; is it hitting all of the buttons? What would make things better, happier, best? Where can you belong to the inner you to share with the world best? Neptune in Aries has been polishing this for some time in terms with how you motivate yourself. If it has been an inner dialogue of ‘less than’ for your entire life, now it requires leveling up. Virgo is asking what it will take in order for you to level up appropriately; there are ideas that already have been formed that may need to be examined.

Hence the breakdown to breakthrough; where are you holding onto something too tightly? Or better yet, what outcome do you think you need versus an outcome that you want? And that’s a toughie, as Virgo is the plan, the routine, the method. We want a certain thing to hit all the buttons, but no matter how hard we try, it doesn’t work. Pisces does not want us to try. It wants us to accept what is actually there, under all of our own stories and gaslighting. It wants us to go with the flow, to recognize magic and all of its forms before committing to the plan. What is performative versus what is actually necessary? ‘Necessary’ is what the heart wishes and more, but if you don’t love/feel/believe you belong with it, then you do not. Pluto’s retrograde motion is asking for a higher level of belief in your belonging wish; just as long as the wish is beneficial for everyone regardless of the plan. Yet, the plan is one of the hardest things of all to let go of.

Just recognize that whatever this eclipse throws at you, recognize and deeply understand that changes do need to be made, and you are getting supported for them to be made for you. If you have been feeling off the path for a while, this could be the rail that snaps you back into place. There may be volatile emotions around what needs to depart, but my guess is that most folks know exactly the areas in their lives that are getting this kind of attention; as the nodes have left the Virgo/Pisces axis entirely, rebuild is more the theme than shocking takedown. However, there is still something available for you to dismantle and look at. The outer world will change and be rebuilt based on cleaning out the methods of living your life that have been beneath you for some time; this is an opening that may look like a letting go.

Venus sexiling the Solar Eclipse point from two weeks ago is exact from her position in Libra; you have person to person support around the new dream that is holding feelings open for that new dream. Protect yourself by knowing your personal boundaries, which is easy considering your spiritual self is tuning into your bodily needs with the moon. Mars is also in big square to Venus and Saturn as he holds space for emotional safety in being himself, so he is feeling deep motivation to make new interactions. Jupiter is also in the beginning of a beautiful additional set of trines to Saturn (we have already had a few in Pisces/Cancer) so he is pushing for the love to fuel the endeavor; cannot argue with that. This is a beautifully supportive eclipse, if not chaotic and surprising with that Uranus square.

Rest knowing that Uranus always works for your highest good, but be prepared to yield to circumstances that are asking for a reset. When the moon is illuminated by the shadow of the Earth during this time, the shadow makes itself known first. Even then, be prepared for it (I feel like a broken record here) to be an INSIDE JOB. Meaning, circumstances are in motion from conditions that you may have agreed to due to an antiquated system of understanding yourself. You have the opportunity to level up by attended to the vibrational shift within first here. This is meant to show you the real goods, so don’t sell yourself short by not asking for more instead of being afraid to make waves to avoid chaos. Recognize that the goal of four, and really Aquarius in general, is to BE what COMES. Let go of who you thought you needed to be to accept the wonder of who you are.
